CHATHAM GANNET 7 CHATHAM HECTOR 3
Hectors season got off to a shaky start as they were summarily despatched by Gannet 7-3 thanks to a fine treble from Jacob Goodchild,two from Liu Yun Guo and a single from captain John Clark. Shaune Hollis was Hectors best player with a double, only losing to Jacob. Malcolm Kay got a single at the expense of John Clark but Vasil Datchev could make no impression on the Gannet trio. Jacob and Liu joined forces to take the doubles in four.
