With Jim Davie injured, Rainham 3 were able to call up Georgi Atanasov to play against Cliffe Woods this week in their bid to stay out of the bottom two. He secured 2 wins (against Andy Larner and Mike Kemlo) but had no answer to Peter Mortley who, for the 2nd week running, won all three without dropping a leg. Andy Larner won his other two games against Tim Davie and Jazz Plaha and Cliffe's 6th point was gained by Kemlo's 5th leg win against Tim, having lost another all the way encounter against Jazz. Rainham took the Doubles and the 4 points gained in this match could be vital going into the last week of the season.
