Rainham 4 lost for only the 3rd time this season at the hands of Luton 2. Ross Childs gave another Player of the Match performance for the home side winning all his singles and then combining with Dave Hopkins to take the Doubles (13-11 in the 5th) to confirm the 6-4 result. Hopkins had early notched up wins against Georgi Atanasov and Graham Watts but lost out to Sam Woodcock over the maximum distance. Sam also beat Luton Captain Tony Boarer as did Georgi and Graham. Rainham remain in 2nd spot and Luton are now comfortable in mid table having spent the first half of the season near the bottom.
