The four matches this week in Div 1 have been close affairs, all ending with a 6-4 scoreline. In this one the home side, Rainham 3, went into a 3-0 lead through Jim Davie, Jazz Plaha and Tim Davie before Chatham Dorset staged a comeback only to be denied by the Doubles at the end of the evening. Jazz and Tim have started the new season well and both won twice, only being beaten by Julian Barker and Gareth Fox respectively. Jim couldn't add to his initial win, losing to both Gareth and Dorset's 3rd player, Claire Blackman.
