Premier Division

Covid plays havoc with premier matches.

With only two teams able to fill their fixtures Horsham Spinners were one, they defeated Ping Panthers 9-0. Three wins each for Graham Beaney, Gary Wilson and Erik Van Mol although Sasha O’Halloran took Gary Wilson to five and Graham Beaney to four sets. Steven Ive lost in the fifth to Erik Van Mol.

Hang Em High missing a player and calling on other reserves went down 2-7 to Crawley Knights. Knights Josef Krakovsky was the only player with three wins including a forfeit while Peter Cracknell and Mina Matta had two wins including a forfeit. Matthew Caddy for Knights defeated both Mina Matta and Peter Cracknell.

Conference / Division One.

King Pongs keep the lead in this division with a 7-2 win over Spinderellas. It was three each for both Darius Mayhew and Nikita Kalyazin but shock of the night was junior girl Holly Cole who defeated seasoned veteran John Bridger in three sets.  For Spinderellas Annabel Bridger and Karin Kunrath both won one each.

Pingwins had to work hard for their 5-4 win over X Men . Dan Polhill played very well in winning three with David Polhill winning two. For X Men Robert Hoare won two with Colin Cooper and Peter Caddy winning one apiece.

New Avengers deserved their 7-2 win over Blade Runners with Luke Goff getting his first treble which includes an excellent 11-9 win over the talented junior Oscar Wiseman. Team mates Robert Goff and Prevesh Ramnath won one each. The winning player for Avengers was Oscar Wiseman with two wins.

Thunderbolts defeated Magiks 7-2 with a star performance from David Metcalfe with three wins with Samantha Stoner and Matthew Power two wins each. For Magiks Mel Sims held the fort with two wins.
