It was a quiet night at Freemans Quay, very quiet, no Martial arts screaming, no basketball, so quiet you could hear the gentle sound of a plastic ball being tapped backwards and forwards over the net on the two tables that were required for the club session. One for the league match,  between Tornadoes and the Lanchester Praetorians, and the other used for practise.

The Praetorian team of Val Andrew and Ann struggled against the very experienced Tornadoes team headed up by Kye joined by Izzy and Peter. The Praetorians gave a good account of themselves but didn’t upset the odds even though they gave a spirited performance and were positive all the way through.
