Paul continues his good form managing to win all three of his singles and for once this season the team got it right in the doubles with Paul and Pat beating Jeremy and Mike to give the match score 6-4 win to Falcons.

Pat and Huw struggled to find their flowing game against the pimples and playing styles of their opponents, who competently completed routine wins.

That said, the match was played in usual good spirits in the great conditions of Denbury Village Hall.

Tykes are now hoping for a steady improvement in form for the remainder of the season ...  to ensure they retain their Div 2 status.
