The one first division fixture this week saw the Brixham Sharks pick up a narrow 6-4 victory over NA Condors despite a fine maximum from Condors’ reserve Jim McIvor.

The second division leaders Torbay Academy 2 march on towards the title with an impressive 8-2 victory over Brixham Trawlers, Nicholas Shipley was unbeaten for the Academy. Rhys Lush was again in excellent form as his maximum helped steer his Torre Titans team to an 8-2 victory over the Taverners. Brixham Gulls, with an Alan Maynard maximum, saw off the challenge from Dawlish Aces winning 7-3. There was a one-sided encounter between two Newton Abbot teams as the NA Raptors defeated the NA Owls 9-1, Paul Hine and Steve Tyler were undefeated for the Raptors. A David Davies maximum for his Dawlish Aces team helped them recover from a 5-2 deficit to share the points with NA Condors.

In the third division an 8-2 victory by Torbay Academy 3 over their clubmates Academy 4 stretched their lead at the top to eleven points. Ed Damanskas and Will Whittington with maximums for the third team. The battle between the two teams behind the leaders was won by The Grove who narrowly defeated NA Kestrels 6-4 despite a maximum from the Kestrels’ Andy Millman. A Keith Haslam maximum helped his NA Harriers to a 6-4 victory over Torre Vikings. Busy this week, Torre Vikings suffered a second 6-4 defeat this time to Torbay Academy 5. NA Hawks recovered from a poor start to eventually beat Torbay Academy 4 7-3 thanks to a Doug Morgan maximum.

All the fourth division matches were very one sided this week. Dawlish Renegades continued their winning run with a comprehensive 9-1 victory over NA Vultures. Pierre Doutreligne and Prabhu Kashap were undefeated for the Dawlish side. Torbay Academy 6, Jerry Hollings, Jean Neafcy and Ann Marie Gibbs, had two comfortable victories, firstly whitewashing clubmates Torbay Academy 7 and then getting the better of NA Ospreys 8-2. NA Kites, with Derek Stratton and Lewis Short undefeated, beat Dawlish Doubtfuls 9-1
