As we reach the Christmas break it’s as you were at the top of the first division, NA Batmen with a two point lead over NA Buzzards.  The top two teams both had comfortable 8-1 wins over club colleagues. NA Batmen saw off NA Condors, Dennis Gibbs and Mark Burridge both with maximums while second placed NA Buzzards defeated NA Eagles, Lauren Loosemore and Herbie Sage being unbeaten for the Buzzards.  A Dave Wadling maximum helped his Halwell B side to a 7-2 win, in another encounter between club mates, over Halwell A.

The Torre Titans team of Chris Harper, Tony Nguyen & Ed Crawford, at the top of Division Two, had mixed fortunes this week, comfortably whitewashing Brixham Gulls but then going down 6-3 to Torbay Academy 2, Stuart Shipley with an excellent maximum for the Academy.  NA Falcons join the Titans at the top of the table following their 7-2 victory over the Taverners, Mike Dummett and Jim McIvor undefeated for the Falcons. Brixham Gulls bounced back from their heavy defeat earlier in the week to defeat NA Raptors 5-4.

Torre Panthers 8-1 victory over Torbay Academy 4 stretches their lead at the top of the third division to 4 points. Reserve, Charun Tatom, stepped up a division and put in a man of the match performance to help the Panthers, Chris Garner also recorded a maximum.  NA Hawks stay in the hunt in second spot following their 7-2 victory over NA Ospreys, Jackie Whitehorn and Doug Morgan going well for the Hawks. Rob Williams and Andy Millman were unbeaten as third placed NA Kestrels defeated the Grove 7-2 at Totnes.

Leaders of the fourth division, Torre Thunder, defeated Torbay Academy (6) 6-3 thanks to another Charun Tatom maximum.  William Whittington, unbeaten again, helped Torbay Academy 5 to a 6-3 win at Brixham over the Seals.  A young NA Vultures team found the experienced NA Kites too strong as they lost out 8-1, Derek Stratton and Ivor Copley being unbeaten for the Kites.
