In the Second Division the unbeaten leaders playing without their star man Herbie Sage, sidelined with an injury, were in danger of defeat, as they trailed 4-2 against Brixham Imports, but with Daniel Webster-Hall in fine form they won the last four sets to take the match 6-4. NA Eagles, Ed Crawford, Andy Tyrrell and Jim McIvor, with a whitewash victory over Marldon, have drawn level at the top with the Academy on 78 points, and have opened up a 26 point gap to 3^rd place Brixham Imports.  Colin Harrop was in fine form for the Taverners as they eased their relegation fears with a fine 7-3 victory over the Battlers.

Third Division leaders, NA Hawks, were pushed all the way by Brixham Dolphins, whose Brian Pengelly remains unbeaten in the league, but squeezed home 6-4. Second-placed Torbay Academy 4s edged closer to the Hawks with an 8-2 victory over Dawlish Diamonds; Matt Cooper and Ben Hoare with maximums for the Academy. Denbury Tykes also stay in contention with 2 wins over Brixham teams, 7-3 over the Diamonds, despite a fine maximum from Diamond’s Keith Williams, and 8-2 over the Dolphins. Steve Metcalfe secured a maximum for the Tykes against the Dolphins.  Martin Charlesworth was the top man for basement side Dawlish Diamonds as they picked up just their second win of the season beating NA Falcons 6-4. Falcons also lost out to Hasbeens in a marathon match where 7 of the sets went to a 5^th game decider. Hasbeens won 6 of them and took the match 8-2, as Mike Wickens got a maximum for the Hasbeens.

Torre Tigers, with Robert Excell and Steve Tucker undefeated, saw off Torbay Academy 6’s challenge 8-2, and sit at the top of the 4^th Division.  Torbay Academy 5, in the runners-up spot, narrowly defeated Torres R Us 6-4 thanks to maximums from the Academy’s Craig Collins and Harrison Grainger. Still in contention, NA Ospreys, with Dale Fabian and Sam Hiles unbeaten, were victorious over Dawlish Drifters 8-2. The Drifters, sitting at the foot of the table, also narrowly lost out 6-4 to Torbay Academy 6.  A Richard Salt maximum saw his NA Kites side to a 7-3 victory over Brixham Swifts.

There is no stopping Torbay Academy 1 at the top of the First Division, their latest encounter being a comfortable 9-1 win over NA Buzzards, with Kris Piwowar and Patrik Cincala easily seeing their way to maximums. NA Batmen in 2^nd place also recorded a 9-1 win beating Halwell; Dennis Gibbs and Kelvin Cheung were unbeaten for the Batmen.  A Clive Banham maximum helped 3^rd place Brixham Sharks to an 8-2 victory over Torbay Academy 2.  Mick Mercer was undefeated as his side, the Brixham Gulls, shared the points with Dawlish Aces
