Bombers v Ouston A     

A thoroughly entertaining game between two exciting teams with all games being very close. Both teams fielded their most regular three with Dan Hutchinson, Peter Smallcombe and Max Duffin for Sacriston against the father and son combo of Neil and Mark Rodgers along with Jamie Dent for Ouston. The game went one way and then the other to start, but with Max putting in the player of the match performance and winning all his singles and with Peter winning 2 and Dan winning one and the doubles going to the Peter and Dan combo, Bombers ran out 7-3 winners. The closeness of the game was shown by all of Ouston winning a match each.

Cram Corinthians v  Chargers

A bad night at the office for Chargers who were outgunned and outplayed by the strong top of the table Corinthians team of Sam Nair, Pauline Long and Gus Poole. Travelling for Chargers were Peter Whitfield, left hander Paul Salkeld and steady youngster Jack Pugh. Although no games were walkovers only 4 went to 4 ends and one to 5 ends and the game ended cementing Corinthians at the top of the league with a 10 - 0 win.
