According to the RDTTA rules, League matches should not be postponed but should take place on the scheduled date, or on an earlier date if agreed by both team captains. (see Rules 12.11.1 - 12.11.5)

The new plastic balls will become mandatory from the start of the 2015/16 season, however for the upcoming 2014/15 season Table Tennis England (the ETTA) has given local Leagues the option of which ball to use.

The RDTTA committee has decided that the old, celluloid balls will be used for all RDTTA league matches and tournaments for the duration of the 2014/15 season.
