WEEK 18 REPORT
DIV 1
Ashford Hill Ramblers need one point from their last two matches to secure the league title Maximums this week from Paul Rattue and Sam Ricks and the two of them in the doubles gave them a 7-3 win over Woolton Hill Eagles.
Kintbury Titans are almost certain of runners up place after an 8-2 victory over two man Thatcham Lions with trebles from Kevin Brooker and Nat Richardson . Glen Freeman also won twice.
Thatcham A beat bottom club Thatcham C 8-2 with Ross Saxby and Richard Rosinski both unbeaten on the night and also took the doubles together.
Matt Davies scored a maximum for Upton Ultraviolets but couldn't stop them going down 6-4 to Kintbury JOG for whom Dom Cutter and Pete Sinyard both had two wins each along with Mark Wheelers one and they got the vital doubles.
Thatcham Colts are now only 4 points behind Thatcham Lions with three games in hand in a fight to get out of bottom  two and picked up three useful points when they won 7-3 against Woolton Hill Badgers Joseph Cornmell won all three and Keith Russell two . Simon Sonsino had two victories for Badgers.
DIV 2 
Thatcham Scorpions are top by one point but have played one more game than Jeffenaults in second Scorpions just got home 6-4 in a closely contested match with Ashford Hill Misfits.Nobody was unbeaten and everyone won a game Bill Stamatiou and Dean Mustill  had doubles for Scorpions and Simon Craig did the same for Misfits.
Misfits went one better when they tied 5-5 with AWE Fission with a maximum from  Denise Weller back in the side . John McLarty and Bob Harris both won a couple each for Fission
Woolton Hill Wombats and Thatcham  Scavengers also fought out a draw with Wombats Johnathan Hopson taking the honours with his treble and for Scavengers Spencer Harvey and Thereasa Watson both won twice.
DIV 3
Inkpen Insufferables just held on to their unbeaten record with a 6-4 win over Thatcham Spitfires even though John Panting had a hard worked maximum for the losers Rohit Sengupta and Bob Nash both won two each and won the doubles together 11-8 in the fifth to obtain the victory.
The younsters from Thatcham Tornadoes  have  improved with every match and this was their biggest win of the season when defeating Woolton Hill Woodpeckers 8-2 Jason Agar won all three with Michael Slingo and Michael Sopp winning twice each
