The final was between Thatcham Jeffernauts and Thatcham Scorpions both second division sides with Jeffernauts getting a 17 point start
Tefion Chamberlain started well for Jeffernauts and increased the lead but Simon Barter and Dean Mustill closed the gap again before Chamberlain won his next game comfortably .
Bill Stamatiou and Tom Lewis had a real battle but the few points Stamatiou gained still left them 44 behind
Barter and Mustill brought down the lead to to 38 but once Chamberlain got back on the table it shot back up to an uncatchable 58 and although Stamatiou gained 18 points against Matt Smith the doubles saw victory to Jeffernauts by 64 points
Was a big test for unbeaten Div 3 team Inkpen Insufferables and mid table Div 2 Thatcham Scavengers who had to give Insufferables a 43 start
Spencer Harvey Bob Lynch and Thereasa Watson started well for Scavengers and by 5 matches had pulled back Insufferables lead and gone 6 points ahead.But Insufferables came back again Rohit Sengupta had two good wins and Tom Kelly and Bob Nash also gained some points which gave them a narrow lead going into the doubles which they held onto to win by 14 points
Thatcham Lions completed their fixtures with an 8-2 win over Upton Ultraviolets and are 6 points ahead of second bottom team Thatcham Colts who still have two matches to play.Ross Lingard and Patrick Garlick both had maximums and also won the doubles together.
A strong Woolton Hill Badgers side defeated bottom team Thatcham C by 8-2 with three each from Malcolm Cummins and Richard Fettes
Thatcham Jeffenauts are putting in a strong bid for the title with a good 9-1 victory against Thatcham Choppers with maximums from Teifon Chamberlain and Tom Lewis and are now only one point behind Thatcham Scorpions with a game in hand.
Thatcham Spartans blew any outside chance they had when losing 6-4 to Woolton Hill Wombats with Jonathan Hopson getting three and Robin Burns two. Celia Hooker got a brace for Spartans.
Wombats also had a 6-4 over Kintbury Cobra's with Hopson and Burns winning two apiece but Cocra's Ian Wu went one better winning all three.
Inkpen Insufferables who have already wrapped up the title had a commanding 10-0 win over Thatcham Hawks with Bob Nash Tom Kelly and Rohit Sengupta going through the card.
West Ilsley B beat Woolton Hill Woodpeckers 7-3 although they were taken to five sets 4 times but won them all.Steve Cobrin won all his games and Lionel Sheppard won two.Ben Djekic won twice for Woodpeckers.
Thatcham Spitfires had a comfortable victory over two man Woolton Hill Racketeers with John Panting and Pat Shaw both unbeaten and also winning the doubles
