Cliff Woods consolidated their position as they look to secure their 2nd successive runners up spot.
Paul Cronin picked up his customary treble and was supported by Alan Longhurst and David McAulay who also went undefeated. It wasn't plain sailing for Alan or Dave as Danny Stokes managed to secure a leg of Alan and Dave,  squandering four games points in the fourth against the latter. Nicky Stokes will also be disappointed to lose a two leg lead against Dave, going down 11,8 in the fifth. Mehdi played well in patches but couldn't get going. Although Paul Cronin won his three, he struggled in the doubles, with skippy having  to carry him!. There were many serves from Danny he couldn't return, back to the drawing board!
