Luton Invicta 2 are back up to 5th in Div One following this 8-2 victory over Rainham 2. Dave Hopkins picked up his 2nd Player of the Match Award of the season going unbeaten in singles and Doubles. He was given most to do by John Coleman, needing a 5th leg to get past the Rainham Skipper. Tim Davie had another good match for the visitors, recording straight leg wins against both Ian Sayer and Tony Boarer. The Luton duo did win their other two games but Ian had a fight on his hands against Fulham fan Mick Hambelton, just getting the job done 13-11 in the decider. Rainham drop a place to 8th.
