The first time these two sides met, Howard 2 could only find one player so consequently suffered their only defeat of the season. This time they fielded a full team and ran out 9-1 winners at an unusually empty Howard Centre. John Kane and Tony Bull showed why they are both in the top 5 of the Div One averages with impressive displays of their different skills although did both drop a leg to Gary Hentshel. The Boxley man was then involved in the game of the night with Alex Clarke with Alex having to dig deep to come back from losing the first 2 legs unleashing a series of winners down both wings. He did, however, drop his side's only point when he lost over 4 tight legs to Barry Roles. Boxley Captain Lyndon Gurr was involved in some great rallies but couldnt get much change out of the Div One leaders.
