Howard 2 retain top spot in Div One with their 9th win on the bounce. They sit 2 points clear with a game in hand on 2nd placed Rainham 3 and 8 clear of Cliffe Woods who are 3rd on equal matches. Roger Morley is having a fine season and for the 4th time took the Player of the Match Award with another unbeaten performance. John Kane is also playing well and registered a treble but had to win the last 2 legs to beat Dave Hopkins.  Howard's 3rd player, Robert Jaroszynski, lost to all of the Luton players in only his 4th appearance of the season. Ian Sayer came back from 2 legs down to ensure Robert remained winless. Hopkins and Ross Childs took the Doubles at the end of the evening to make the score respectable.
