A close match where the away side, Sturdee 3, secured the 6-4 result in the Doubles. Andy Marchant and Jas Plaha made their Sturdee debuts against an opposition well known to them and both secured braces. Jas was denied a treble by John Coleman and Andy was beaten by Tim Davie. Tim  also beat Neil Tydeman and took the Player of the Match Award. Neil also came up short against Mick Hambelton but did manage a 4 leg win against John so every player got at least one win on the night as a reward for their efforts.
