Ross Childs seemingly likes playing against Cliffe Woods 2 as he recorded a 2nd hatrick against them this season, only dropping 2 legs. He couldnt, however, prevent a 4-6 loss (the same score as the first meeting between these 2 sides) as Peter Mortley, Dave Lewis and Mike Kemlo won all the other singles. Dave Hopkin's radar must have been out as he lost all three for the first time this season although he did team up with Ross to win the Doubles for Luton's 4th point. Tony Boarer completed the Luton line-up taking legs off both Peter and Mike but unable to add to the scoreline.
