Upnor A are now 9 points clear at the top of Div One following this week's victory against Luton 2. They did drop 3 points, however, as Dave Gracey lost to Ian Sayer, Peter Worthington went down to Ross Childs and the Luton pair also added a surprisingly comfortable Doubles success for the 3rd point. They are joint bottom but do play one of their closet rivals (Rainham 2) next week. Player of the Match, Nick Boden, kept his 100% record going but, only just, as he needed to stage a comeback from 2-1 down in legs to Ross before getting home 11-9 in the decider. Ian Sayer also  nearly added a 2nd win but couldnt hang on to a 2 leg advantage against Worthington. Luton Captain Tony Boarer completed their line up but drew a blank.
