Wong and Liu find it tough in Hong Kong

Jamie Liu and Jasmin Wong were given a big test at the Hong Kong Junior & Cadet Open.

The English pair were up against an entry list dominated by players from the Far East, with the host nation, Singapore, Japan, China and Taipei all well represented.

Both featured in mixed line-ups in the Cadet team events, with Wong picking up a good win against the USA A, despite a 3-1 overall defeat.

In the singles, both were unable to advance from the group stages, and they also fell at the first hurdle in their respective doubles competitions.
