England teams go for Euro qualification

A place at the European Team Championships is at stake for England men and women as they compete in Stage 2 matches this weekend.

England women are at BATTS TTC in Harlow, where they host Spain and Belgium.

The squad of Tin-Tin Ho, Maria Tsaptsinos, Denise Payet and Charlotte Bardsley play Spain at 7pm on Saturday, followed by Belgium at 11am on Sunday.

The need to finish first or second in the three-team group to secure a place at the European Championships in France in September.

Unfortunately, we are unable to show the match live but we will be providing updates via Twitter and live scoring will be available on the ETTU website by clicking here. We hope to be able to upload highlights after the fixtures.

Meanwhile, the men’s line-up of Liam Pitchford, Paul Drinkhall, Sam Walker and Tom Jarvis are in Estonia, where they will play three matches.

First up are Ukraine at 2pm on Saturday, followed by the host nation at 7pm on Saturday and Italy at 2pm on Sunday. Again, a top-two finish is needed to secure qualification.
