TETFORD MOVE UP TO THIRD!

  Tetford moved up to third place in the league with a 3-7 victory away to Mayflower, with player of the match Andy Foster anchoring his team. Brian Todd got Tetford off to the best possible start with an excellent victory over Tony Hall in 4 before Andy Foster took a straight sets victory over Jamie Hill. Wayne Grooby was the man to stop Tetford's progress with a straight sets victory over Peter Hughes before Brian Todd secured his second point with a hard fought 5 set battle against the unlucky Jamie Hill, Brian taking the last two ends 6-11, 4-11. Tony Hall hit back for Mayflower with an epic battle against Peter Hughes, Tony coming from 1-2 down to take the next two ends 11-6 and 12-10. Tetford then took the next two matches with victories for Andy Foster over Wayne Grooby and Peter Hughes getting a point that his play deserved over the unlucky Jamie Hill. Wayne Grooby got Mayflower's last point of the evening with victory over Brian Todd but with Andy Foster completed his hattrick against Tony Hall and a 1-3 victory in the doubles, it was Tetford who took home the spoils.
