ELLIS TAKES HOME THE SPOILS!

Adam Ellis was the player of the match and inflicted the most damage when Stickney visited Wrangle in an entertaining 4-6 victory for the away team, Adam winning all of his matches in straight sets. Wrangle's Sam Cooper was the pick of the Wrangle team, putting in a Captain's performance with wins against Vince Lozynsky and a superb straight sets win over Gavin Herberts. Dave Coulson added another point for Wrangle with victory over Vince but couldn't stop Gavin or Adam. Pete Evans also added one point with victory over Vince and nearly had another but just missed out 6-11 in the fifth against Gavin Herberts. This left the score at 4-5 with Wrangle getting a chance of a draw if they could win the doubles, however, the Cooper/Evans partnership were outsmarted Herberts/Ellis, losing in straight sets to finish 4-6 on the night.
