Flixton ppong A, riding high in the Premier Division of the Bolton Table Tennis League, took advantage of tenth-placed Ladybridge a to secure maximum points with a 27 – 4 win. In second place Ramsbottom Town A  had a 23 – 12 win over their own B team. Third-placed Burning Desire lost out 22 – 15 to mid-table Little Lever Cricket Club A assisted by nine points from Graham Jeffries. Fourth-placed Hilton A took advantage of their own bottom of the table B team 23 -13 while fifth-place Coburg A also had success against Radcliffe TTC 22 – 12 with nines coming from Coburg’s Kyan Chin and Charles Musa.

Second Division leaders Polonia Club A  gave second-placed Hilton D their first loss 19 – 12 with Lusasz Serdiuk and Vojtech Sanc both on nine. Third paced Coburg B lost out to Hilton E 19 – 14 despite a resisting nine from Chris Naylor. In mid-table it was a draw 18 – 18 between Hilton C and Heaton Cricket Club A with David Hall on nine for Heaton. Eighth-placed Meadow Ben A beat second-bottom North West Lions 24 – 8 helped by nines from James Bollard and Stephen Jones. Mid-table Ramsbottom Town C had a full 27 – 2 points win over ninth-placed Wingates.

In Division Two, way-out leaders Farnworth Social Circle C beat eighth-placed Lostock Tennis club 20 – 13 helped by nine from Christopher Lord. Fifth-placed Brass Zone had their first win of the season against ninth-placed Farnworth Social Circle B with nines from Jim Bolton and Jeff Weston. Mid-table Heaton Cricket Club B beat second-bottom Ladybridge B 22 – 17.

Farnworth Social Circle are also having success in Division Three as their D team lead the pack. They capitalised on new team Bolton Hindu Forum who lie second bottom with a maximum  27 – 1 win. Second-placed Polonia Club B also triumphed 22 – 8 over junior team Hilton I with nine from Radoslaw Krzyzewski. Third-placed Meadow Ben C just pipped sixth-placed Albany 18 – 17. Fourth-placed Hilton G  beat their own H team 23 – 11 with nines from Nathan Donaldson and Malcolm Wilcock. Fifth-placed Meadow Ben D took advantage of bottom of the table Meadow Hill Tennis Club with a maximum 27 – 4 points win.
