Last chance to book onto National Conference

The agenda for the 2019 Table Tennis England National Conference has been finalised, with guest speakers coming from Sport England Club Matters, British Para Table Tennis, ClubSpark and the English Institute of Sport.

More than 100 people have already registered for the conference, which will be held in Leicester, 30-31 March. Anyone thinking of attending who has not yet registered, will need to be quick – registration closes tomorrow -(Friday 22nd).

The two-day conference features a packed programme, which will cover all the essential subjects, expert advice and guidance for clubs and coaches.

Claire Brockwell, conference organiser and Clubs, Schools and Leagues Manager at Table Tennis England, said:

The National Conference presents a great opportunity for table tennis clubs from across the country to come together to take part in a variety of workshops, meet other clubs and Table Tennis England staff, as well as celebrate our fantastic sport.

Final preparations are underway and we are looking forward to welcoming clubs, coaches and table tennis volunteers to Leicester in nine days’ time!

Aled Howell, Coach and Education Manager, added:

This is a great opportunity for coaches throughout England to come together to share ideas, network and add some extra skills to their coaching.

As well as the chance to hear from guest speakers, it’s also your chance to meet and talk to many members of the Table Tennis England team, including: Sara Sutcliffe (CEO), Joanna Keay-Blyth (Head of Operations and Governance) and Greg Yarnall (Head of Development and Volunteering).

The Conference is being held at College Court Conference Centre, Knighton Road, Leicester, and also features the Pride of Table Tennis Awards dinner, where we honour our amazing volunteers.
