In the Premier Division Nomads A could not raise a team and receive no points giving Radcliffe a win based on their average score so far 17 – 0. Top of the table Ramsbottom Cricket Club march on with a 27 – 5 win over Heaton A with all players on an obvious nine maximum points. Similarly second placed Flixton Cricket Club A beat Ladybridge A 26 – 6 with maximum points from Steven Scowcroft and Tony Worthington. Third placed Ramsbottom Town A trounced bottom of the table Coburg A 27 – 2 with all players on maximum points. There was one close match with Wharton just pipping Hilton A 17 – 16 despite a resisting nine from Hilton’s Andrew Michnowiec.

In Division One Burning Desire took advantage of lower placed Little Lever B 26 - 4 with Dennis Collier and Brett Haslam on maximum nine points. Wingates had a good win over bottom of the table Meadow Ben A 26 – 6 with nines from John Bradbury and Dave Smith. The rest were more equal affairs. Second placed Acre Bottom had a very close 18 – 17 win over Hilton B with Brian Clements on nine. Nomads B beat Coburg B 19 – 14 and Ramsbottom Town B overcame BRASS A 21 – 15 helped by a nine from Mohammed Sagied. Farnworth SC A had a 19 – 13 win over Hilton C assisted by a nine from John Hutchinson.

In Division Two there was a top and bottom of the table meeting between Hilton D and Top spinners. No surprise then that the score was 27 – 1 to Hilton with all players on maximum points. Heaton Cricket Club C had a 21 – 14 win over Meadow Ben B with David Jones Jnr taking nine points. BRASS B beat Boyzone 20 – 13 with John Scowcroft on maximum points for BRASS. An inter-club clash between Hilton E and F teams resulted in the F team just taking it 19 – 16. They are actually slightly higher in the tables than their E team.

There was a good balance of results in Division Three. Top of the table Bolton TTC B beat Farnworth Social Circle B 22 – 15 with a nine from Peter McCormick and Ramsbottom Town C beat Hilton G 21 – 15 with Paul Wood on maximum nine points. Mid table Farnworth SC B just scraped it 19 – 18 against second placed St. Paul’s Peel.

In Division Four second placed Meadow Hill A had an inter-club match against their own bottom of the table B team. They showed no mercy at all trouncing them 27- 3 with all players on maximum nine points. Top team Juniors Hilton I had a comfortable 21 – 12 win over Irlam Steel assisted by Steven Gao taking nine points and Meadow Ben D overcame Juniors Hilton J 17 – 12.
