2nd April 2015 saw the final matches of the season with the Club Closed Championships. As usual the handicapping had been arranged so that every member had an equal opportunity.
The evening was well run by Nick Mytton and the competition was as competitive as the Cheltenham Closed Championships.
The man in form was Keith Ferguson who played outstanding on the evening winning eight games on the bounce to secure his first club titles. Keith beat the ever competitive Chris Lane in a great match, that had lots of long and intense points.
Keith however, was not done for the evening as he partnered Stuart Greene in the doubles and continued his form helping them secure the doubles title beating Lee Wilkinson and John Mytton who made a guest appearance at the event.
Presentations were made by the Cheltenham League Chairman Dave Metcalfe for whom the club would like to thank. A good time was had by all at the Harvest Home afterwards to discuss the evening events and the forthcoming tour to Ireland.
