Match Report

Cotton Kings arrived at the LSG arena early, The Ghost Mahon and Clan Leader Tweedie in time for a good knock up before starting. Third player Postman Penny still doing his round arriving at 8pm.
Dragons with one change Cabin Boy Adam replacing stand in Melling
Let’s get going. Owdmon V The Ghost. This was a strange close game, each player having big leads and letting the other back in, until Mick forced winners in vital points to take it 3 – 1. This was followed by a brilliant display by cabin boy Adam who never let Clansman settle winning 3 nil.
Doubles next up, letting Penny get settled. This went to the Dragons pair Owdmon and Galeforce 3 – 1 who are getting better as a doubles unit. Score 7 – 4 Dragons.
Galeforce led PP 9 – 5 in the first and somehow let the postman pick his pocket. Garfin took the next but the postman boxed him up and went on to win 3-1.
This was followed by two wins for the Kings, Mahon 3 nil V Adam and Penny 3 – 1 V Owdmon leaving the score 13 – 9 CK’s
Galeforce somehow out fought Tweedie with the ball spinning in every direction to win 3 – 2. Paul was too good for Adam 3- 0 and Mick beat Galeforce 3 – 1. Yet again Garfin could have led 2 nil, throwing a 10 – 5 lead away in the first, sickening!
Owdmon beat Tweedie 3 – 2 in a good match to finish a good evenings TT. Final score 16 - 23.......
On the phone from Russia, Penfold expressed his joy, praising The Ghost on his MoM award. He added I don’t know how long I will be here for, Danger Mouse needs to get the evidence together to arrest the two Russians Alexander Petrov and Rusian Boshirov for the poisoning of the Skripals. I’m also looking to strengthen our squad with the signing of Maximus Kocov he will slide in perfectly to our tight team.
Great game boys……
