Stogumber A scored maximum points for the second week running as they stormed to a 36-5 home victory over Shooting Stars.  Veteran John Phillips put up most resistance for the away side taking 3 singles points including 2 from a fifth set defeat to David Bryant.

Joe Camp played superbly well to become the first Swallows player to achieve a first division maximum.  However it wasn’t enough to save his team from a 15-28 defeat to Gnomads.  Martin Rant and Eddie Ferris notched up 8 & 7 singles points respectively to help Gnomads to victory.

Geoff Williams scored a great maximum for Tigers as they suffered a narrow 4 point defeat at home to Minehead A.  Barbara Parker played the doubles for Tigers as fourth player and helped to add 6 points to their total.  A good Minehead team performance saw Dave Veale take 8 points from his singles and Don Davis and Paul Rees take 6 singles points each.

In Division 2 Barn Boys ran out 29-16 winners at Hobby Horse thanks largely to a Graham Lamacraft maximum.  Barn Boys took a maximum 9 doubles points to assure themselves of a comfortable win.

Drifters recorded a whitewash victory over Swifts as Mike Pretty, Liz Fletcher and Trevor Stockdale all completed maximums.

An Andy Godfrey maximum led St Audries to a 31-12 success at House Martyns.  Andrew Burt top scored for the juniors taking 8 points from his singles.
