First match after the Christmas break it appears 2nd in the league Westdene B had too much pudding. Facing 4th in the league Woodford Wells C they lost 6-4.
 

Wells fielding 2 reserves never looked in trouble although matches were tight. Man of the Match, Dennis Sweeney won all three singles supported by Adrian Joseph 2 & Dave Beggs 1.
 

Wells took the first game of the doubles but without a regular doubles partnership were easily beaten in the final match.

Westdene B number one Dave Maxfield won 2 and
again showed potential. Hopefully he will step up next year to ply his talent in Division one. This acid test will see if he can continue his improvement after winning 2 on the
night. Wells C move into 3rd place 6 points behind with a game in hand on Westdene B in secod spot behind their A team already Champions elect.
