Marathon effort raises thousands for hospice

Father and son Laszlo and Adam Kocsis have raised an amazing £3,500 and counting with their 12-hour table tennis marathon.

About Us

The Watford & District Table Tennis league was founded in 1937, so is about to enter its 80th year! It has a rich history, and currently comprises of 4 Divisions, with the league season running from September through to March. Through one of its clubs, Watford Jets, there is a thriving Junior section, with a weekly 'Juniors only' training session. A number of these Juniors play in the league, but it is not compulsory. There are also 'open' practise nights on selected nights. If you are interested in playing, or joining the league. you should contact a member of the league committee. New players are always welcome, from beginners upwards.
