Div3 singles
 

Monday 1st April - 6 players to contest this event. Played as a round robin. Some very good and close matches. Callum Watson-Humphreys lost his first three matches 3-2 and two were at deuce in the 5th. Dan Carter and Georgi Hristov emerged as the top two and will contest the final. If it matches their 5 set match in the round robin then we are assured of a treat.

Handicap singles

Thurs 28th March -16 entries split into 4 groups. 3 groups had a player from each of the league divisions and the other group had players from 3 divisions. All matches were the best of 3 games and the top 2 from each group qualified for knock out competition and those finishing 3rd and 4th also had a knockout competition. In the consolation event Dave Sims won 2-1 against Georgi Hristov. Worth noting they both won 26 points over the 3 games. The main event also had some close matches. Albert Wong reached the final with a win against Les Samuels 2-1 only 3 points separation and Charlie Caslake beat Roger Close 12-10 in the third. The final saw Charlie giving one point advantage away to Albert but still racing to an 11-3 win in the first game. Albert however held on to take the next two games to seal victory.

Veterans Singles

Three weeks of tournament started Mon 26th Mar with veteran singles. 16 entered an increase of 5 over last year. 4 groups of 4 with 8 qualifying for knock out stage and the final will be contested between Dumitru Toma who defeated Stuart Seaholme 13-11 in the 5th, and Nic Pupaza who beat Rob Spiegelhalter.

Mens Doubles 

Wednesday 28th - men's doubles contested by 10 pairs. 2 group of 3 and 1 of 4 with 6 qualifying for knock out stage. Dumitru Toma & Carl Briendel reached the final by defeating Rob Speigalhalter & Harry Maxwell and Adam Johnson and Jamie Fisher reached the final with nail biting 9 in the 5th win over Nic Pupaza & Piort Borkowski.
