Week 19 Report

The Results for week 19 matches are now in:

In the Premier Division, Ian Mablin and Les Samuels were both unbeaten as Abbots Langley beat Post Office to keep their chances of runner-up spot alive. Jamie Fisher was unbeaten as Urban ‘B’ ran out winners against Cougars, while Kiran Chidambaram was unbeaten for Bats, who beat 2-man Solaris ‘A’.

In Div 1, Watling ‘A’ ran out winners in the top-of-the-table match – Jonathan & Judah Jackson both being unbeaten. Jack Pegram won all 3 singles as Gazelles beat Watling ‘C’. Dolphins continue to close in on 2nd place with an impressive maximum against Falcons, while James Dance again lead the charge as Hounds overcame Watling ‘B’.

In Div 2, Oxhey Halls’ Nick Capacoto was unbeaten in their 5-3 win over Jaguars, for whom young T J O’Sullivan made his debut with 2 excellent wins. One to watch…. Youngster Jacob Smith racked up 3 more wins to help Kangaroos ensure promotion.

In Div 3, David Saunders won all 3 singles for LMR Audit to remain in second spot, while youngster Chris Day was unbeaten as leaders Newts remain on course to win the Division.

Division One:  Eagles vs. Watling 'A' 1-7; Watling 'C' vs. Gazelles 1-7; Dolphins vs. Falcons 8-0; Hounds vs. Watling 'B' 7-1

Division Two: Jaguars vs. Oxhey Hall CA 3-5; Lions vs. Kangaroos 3-5

Division Three: Quails vs. LMR Audit 2-6; Watling ‘D’ vs. Newts 2-6
