Week 3 Report

Week 3 matches have now been played and each of the Divisions are starting to show the 'form' teams:

In the Premier league, evergreen Ken Stonebridge returned to help Abbots to a 5-3 win against Bats. Alan Thomas was unbeaten as Urban 'B' ran out 5-3 winners against Post Office. League returnee Adam Johnson won his 3 singles as Aardvarks overcame Cougars 5-3. Sadly, Progress 'A' conceeded, not being able to field a team against early pace-setters, Solaris 'A'.

In Div 1, early leaders Eagles ran out 7-1 winners against Gazelles, with Lukas Singer-Davis winning all 3 singles. Dubi Dubiner was unbeaten as Watling 'A' beat Falcons 5-3, Dolphins drew with Watling 'B', for whom Graham Spooner won 3 out of 3. Hounds fought back from 0-4 down to draw 4-4 with Watling 'C'. 

In Div 2, the 'joeys' (young Kangaroos!) ran out 6-2 winners against meerkats, while Jaguars had a walkover against Iguanas.

In Div 3, Chris Day won all 3 singles to help Newts beat Ospreys, keeping the pressure on LMR Audit, who also won 6-2, for whom Neil Jenkins won all of his 3 singles.

Premier Division: Bats vs. Abbots Langley 3-5; Urban 'B' vs. Post Office 5-3; Aardvarks vs. Cougars  5-3; Solaris 'A' vs. Urban 'A' 8-0 (walkover)

Division One: Eagles vs. Gazelles 7-1; Watling 'A' vs. Falcons 5-3; Dolphins vs. Watling 'B' 4-4; Hounds vs. Watling 'C' 4-4

Division Two: Meerkats vs. Kangaroos 2-6; Jaguars vs. Iguanas 8-0 (walkover); Lions vs. Solaris 'B' 1-7

Division Three: Newts vs. Ospreys 6-2; Watling 'D' vs. LMR Audit 2-6
