The 3 stars of the tournament, without doubt, were Benjamin Greve (aged 12), Anna Maria Beserabova (aged 13) & Olly Tyndall (aged 17) who all were crowned double champions on the day.
First up was the Under 18s Boys event where Olly Tyndall was aiming to win an impressive 7th year in a row in his last year as a Junior. With 16 entries all went according to seeding until Jonathan Ramsbotham knocked out No.3 seed Tom Cutler in the quarter finals. Olly Tyndall beat Sam McIvor and Marcus Holba ended Jonathan Rambotham's fine run in the Semi's, with both matches being won 3-0. The final started well for Holba who went 6-2 up in the first game but the more experienced Tyndall battled back to take it 11-8, 11-4, 11-1 to claim his 7th successive title.

There were 2 groups of 4 talented players in the Under 13s, which went on to produce semi finals of Tom Powlesland v Charlie Davidson and Benjamin Greve v Ryan Hunt. Both Powlesland & Greve powered to 3-0 victories to progress to the final. Greve dominated the final with his 11-7, 11-6,11-9 win over Powlesland to take the title.

In the youngest age group of the day, the Under 11 Boys played a round robin event with brother's Charlie & Jake Davidson taking the winner and runner up spots respectively.

Both the Girls under 15s & 18s finals were contested between County players Anna Maria Besarabova & Charlotte Sparrow with Besarabova claiming both titles with 3-0 victories.

Next up was the Boys doubles which saw Olly Tyndall claim his 2nd title of the day when he partnered Marcus Holba, winning 3-0 over the runners up, Jonathan Ramsbotham & Sam McIvor.

The final event of the day was the boys under 15s which also had 16 entries and was played with 4 groups of 4 players. Semi finals saw Benjamin Greve overcome Tom Powlesland 3-1 and Sam McIvor beat the in form Jonathan Ramsbotham also 3-1 to reach the final match of the tournament. Greve saved his best until last where he took on McIvor racing to a 2-0 lead before McIvor battled his way back in to level the match 2-2. With both players having match points it was Greve who held his nerve to win his 2nd title of the day 13-11 in the 5th.
