STROUD LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

Thornbury Table Tennis Club have won Stroud's top division for the first time in our short (compared with other clubs) history!

A 9-1 win away at Cirencester on Monday maintained the team's unbeaten record but more importantly secured the title with one match to go.

On the night, Emily Standing (2), Len Vowles (3) and Julian Elsbury (3) were too strong for their hosts

The last league match is against 2nd placed Woodchester A at Castle School on Wednesday 16th March and this is then followed by the team taking part in the Albert Mann Handicap Cup Final on Monday 21st March.

A fantastic season for those above plus Ian Maggs, Anthony Kent and Dave Reeves.

Well played all!!
