Stroud League

Thornbury A team remain unbeaten in Division One, beating Woodchester B in week 2, Frampton B in week 3 and Cirencester on Monday. All squad members have now played at least one match and it looks like it might be very tight at the top of the league this year with a strong Forest Green and Nailsworth Pheonix side currently pushing hard.

Thornbury B have continued where they left off last season, so far recording three wins out of three in Division Two. Nailsworth A, Cam & Dursley A and Randwick B have been their opponents and in this form, they will be near the top of the table all season.

Thornbury C (Team Rubbish) are also flying high in Division Three, currently sitting second in the table with a game in hand. They have also recorded three wins out of three and have three players currently on 100% records. We smell end of season silverware!!

Thornbury D in their debut season in Division Four are now finding their feet in this competitive arena. Whilst not winning any of their first four matches, there have been a couple of close 6-4 losses, so we know that that elusive 'W' is just around the corner. More importantly, all players involved are reporting the enjoyment that they are achieving so for us, that is the most important element.
