The race for the title and relegation battles produced some very close finishes this week.

Carmarthen A beat Penlan A 20-15 thanks to a great 9-1 from Jason Peckham to retain 2nd spot.

Betws A lost more ground going down 20-17 to Penyrheol A despite Cath Jones winning 9-2 for Betws.

Penlan D took advantage of the tight finishes to go further clear at the top by beating bottom club Cam Gears B 30-5.

Carmarthen B moved further away from the bottom with a convincing 28-12 win over Penlan E with Sven Severyns winning 9-2.

The closest finish was the 19-18 win by Penlan C over Tata Port Talbot A. With 2 games to go Penlan led 19-12 but Ros Jenkins and Martin Jenkins both won 3-0 for Tata to get within one point. Both teams remain in the bottom three.
