A cracking game between two teams sporting two youngsters, Billy Lee and Sam Li for Auxiliaries who were well supported by Reuben Emery against Luke Dumighan and Ross Clennell supported by Jeff McKenna for Magic.

Lanchester started with Billy Lee taking the first game but Magic came back strongly taking the next 4 with the two experienced players stepping away from the doubles to allow the youngsters to play. One of those games between Reuben and Jeff was the game of the night with plenty of attacking rallies and eventually Jeff taking the final end 11-7. Auxiliaries came back into it, winning the first two after the doubles but then Magic took the 8th match to take a 5-3 lead. Reuben used his solid playing style and patience to take the 9th game leaving it at 5-4, so Luke and Billy Lee were playing with Billy needing to win to draw the match,  However Luke kept his cool and won through taking a tight 4th game 14-12 to give Magic a 6-4 win on the road.
