Sorry for my late report this is because when I came back from our latest defeat against Brandon Crusaders, I locked myself in the bathroom for 30 hours only came out when my wife tempted me with some chocolate biscuits . I know that am a big boy now and that I should be used to getting beaten, but why me again.

Anyway, to the highlights of the match, Imran Mohammed was 2 ends down to Brian Childs but kept on playing his strokes and overcame his opponent 6-11 in the 5^th game, so he was West’s hero of the night. Alan Whitwham’s set against Alan Perry went to our usual 5 ends Mr Perry coming out on top. Magic Mick Redfearn 1^st set was against Paul Dale, who won in 3 ends and won the rest of his sets and the doubles with Brian, so West lost 9-1 and even Mick could not work his magic.

Player of the Match was Paul Dale, so well played Paul, and well played Imran on the night,

I hope my many fans are not too upset with the displays I have served up this season so let’s not blame Covid and look towards next season to see how low I can get.
