Match Report

The day I was born a crow flew into the room when my Mother was giving birth to me and my Grandmother thought it was a sign of good luck and she called me Crow Boy, 80 years from that day I went to the shop for my paper and when I came out something hit my head and this crow fell to the ground then looked me in my eyes and flew away, more good luck.

West CAC travelled to Great Lumley to take on the Nomads and it ended in a predictable 9-1 win for the Nomads.  However, the match was much closer and Alan Whitwham lost three 5 enders and Malcolm Deneven overcame Stuart Anderson in 3 ends, Colin Robson and Paul Wiggins won all their sets but Howard Foster put up a good fight to no avail and I was proud of the performance all West’s team so well played but hard luck and crows are not good luck.

The Player of the Match was Colin Robson, so well played Colin.
