DAVE BROWN of Brandon Outlaws faced the false number one of West CAC Alan Whitwham and beat him in 4 ends. This was followed by Phillip Hansom over coming West’s Michael Hepworth in 3 ends, but then Malcolm Deneven pulled set back against Paul Lupton.

DAVE BROWN then beat Michael and DAVE BROWN and Phillip had a win in the doubles against Malcolm and Michael, then DAVE BROWN triumphed over Malcolm, so a good night for DAVE BROWN. Michael defeated Paul and Malcolm had a great 5 ender against Phillip which he won 11-7 in the last end. As Alan has not won a set this season he carried on the good work and so Paul Lupton has joined the long list of players who can say I have beaten Alan Whitwham at last.

Of course Player Of the Match was Mr BROWN, so well played DAVE, and also a mention must go to Alan for scoring which he did better than he played table tennis.
