West CAC should change their name to the nearly team because Magic Mick nearly won his first game of the season, he and Alan nearly won the doubles against Alex Nichol and John Cook, Alan Whitwham was nearly Player of the Match and West nearly beat Backspin B which would have been their first win of the season.

Now to real life with Lyndsey Irving doing very well to come back to overcome Mick 14-12 in the 5^th end, Alex’s 2 sets , John’s 3 sets and them teaming up to defeat Alan and Mick in the doubles over 5 games this meant Backspin B won 7-3 in a match played in good and sporting spirit .

Player of the Match was John Cook, so well played John.
