"This is a candidate for one of the best league matches ever played at Brandon Hall. Geoff Salter won a five-ender against John Williamson that lasted 40 minutes with all but one end going to deuce.

Andrew Wilkinson was in fine form as he picked up his three, only dropping one end all evening against Brandon's new player Jevon Chan. This was Jevon's first match for Brandon and used his serves to good effect to pick up two points.

Martin Schapira recovered very well from his early defeat against Jevon to win his remaining two games with consistent forehand loops and when needed some great retrieval play.

Finally, with Brandon regular Jamie Lupton picking up a good point against John Williamson, Jamie and Geoff combined very well to win the doubles three straight to secure the 5-5 draw. This was a deserved result and it was a very enjoyable and competitive match for all."
