week 18

Division 1:

Woodchester A suffered a big blow to their title winning hopes when they lost 3-7 at home to Yate, man of the match was Will Berkley as he scored a maximum for the visitors. Phoenix A put in a good team performance when they defeated their visitors from Frampton A 6-4, Dave Hadley was again on good form as he went unbeaten for the home team.

Division 2:

There are just two points separating the top two sides in the division with just two matches each left to play. Thornbury B keep their noses in front after beating the visiting Whiteshill A 8-2 thanks in part to a maximum score from Mark Attwood. Forest Green B were whitewashed at home to title chasing Randwick A whose trio of George Evans, Tirian Jakes and Declan Fardon all going unbeaten.

Division 3:

There was only one match played in this division in a week badly affected by the weather. The points were shared at five apiece when Randwick D entertained the visiting Nailsworth A, with William Snell scoring a max for the home side. The five points was enough to give Nailsworth A, a ten point lead at the top of the division from Randwick C.

Division 4:

Champions, Cam & Dursley B beat the visiting Frampton D 9-1 with both Joe Collins and Harry Hogan scoring maximums for the home side. Forest Green D were whitewashed at home by Phoenix G, the ten points keep them clear in second place and were scored by Rob Arthur, Sacha Curzon and Fadi Dahdouh. Two other matches were postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
