Tom Watmore scored a maximum for Cirencester which enabled them to secure a five all draw against the visiting Thornbury A. Forest Green A were held to a draw at home to the visiting Woodchester B with the visitors Billy Shilton finishing unbeaten as he scored a hat trick of wins. Not wanting to spoil the sequence, Frampton A and the visiting Phoenix B also produced a drawn match with the home side’s Peter Kirkham finishing as man of the match with a max. Yate entertained Phoenix c in a re arranged fixture and it was thanks to top scores from Dave Hadley and Sam McIvor that the visitors went home with a 6-4 victory.
Robin Munson scored a hat trick for Frampton B giving them a 6-4 victory away to Phoenix D. A below strength Randwick A found the visiting Forest Green B too strong as they went down 3-7 with veteran Alan Giles producing a man of the match performance. Thornbury B were on song as both Gavin Rogers and Mark Attwood were undefeated as they beat the visiting Cam & Dursley A 7-3. Frampton C whitewashed the visiting Nailsworth A who could only field two players on the night.
In a close fought match between Randwick C and the visiting Cam & Dursley B it was the visitors who left with the greatest share of the points thanks to a max from Tony Averis in a 6-4 win. Woodchester C were too strong for the visiting Phoenix F thanks to Barry Morgan and Carol Philp going unbeaten in their 9-1 victory. Woodchester D beat the visiting Thornbury C 7-3 but they couldn’t beat Craig Skeldon who went through the evening undefeated.
Forest Green C were beaten 2-8 at home to Frampton D for whom John Brough returned a maximum. Thornbury D suffered a heavy 1-9 defeat at home to Randwick D with Mark Edwards and Ralph Perry each scoring maximums.
