week 3
Division 1:
Forest Green A made their title intentions known when they whitewashed the visiting Woodchester A. Olly Tyndall, Chris Price and Louis Price all going unbeaten on the night. Phoenix A inflicted an 8-2 victory over their B team club mates with Dave Hadley scoring a max for the home side. Woodchester B also had a convincing win, they defeated the visiting Yate 9-1. Clive Ellison and Tony Clarkson each completed a hat trick of singles wins. Frampton A also produced a good performance when beating the visiting Cirencester 8-2. Steve Porter and Abu Salehbhai returning maximums. 

Division 2:
The points were shared at five apiece between Cam & Dursley A and the visiting Nailsworth A with no one player being able to dominate on the night. Phoenix C defeated the visiting two player Whiteshill B 7-3 with Bob Waters undefeated for the home team. A strong performance from Alan Churchill, scoring a max, helped Whiteshill A to a 7-3 victory when they beat their Frampton C hosts. 

Division 3:
The Woodchester derby was won by the C team 6-4 against their D team club mates. Barry Morgan was the difference hitting top marks for the C side. Another club derby, and this one was between Phoenix D and E. A hat trick for Lucky Gallage helped the visiting E team to a 7-3 victory. Thornbury C are making the early running at the top of the division, it was Cam B’s turn this week to suffer as they went down 8-2 at Thornbury. Steve Biles and Len Pattison both unbeaten. The young and not so young Phoenix F team dispatched the visiting Randwick C 10-0. Sam McIvor, Jon Ramsbotham and Andy Hammond all undefeated.  

Division 4:
Cam and Dursley C were unable to contain the visiting Nailsworth B, Alun Davis, Richard Lilwall and Mark Davis all going unbeaten for the visitors while inflicting a whitewash. A young Randwick E struggled against their experienced Frampton D visitors losing 1-9 on the night. Len Agg and Glan Watkins won three singles each. In a week high on club derbies Forest Green C beat their D team club mates 8-2. Alex Edwards and Ciaran Bryden each produced maximum performances for the home side. Dave Watson scored a max for Nailsworth C as they beat the visiting Phoenix H 6-4. Phoenix G produced a good team performance against the visiting Thornbury D, beating the visitors 6-4 but they couldn’t prevent Thornbury’s Alan Fisher landing a triple.
