week 2
Division 1:
Although Forest Green A could only field two players when they visited Cirencester, maximums from Ben Glover and Alan Giles were enough to give the visitors a 6-4 victory. Paul Bird and Charlie Jefferies won the doubles in three for the home side. Frampton A came out comfortable winners when they beat their B team club mates 9-1. Steve Porter and Abu Salehbhai each finished with a maximum for the “visitors”. Woodchester A lost 7-3 at home to Phoenix A, Dave Hadley making the difference scoring a hat trick for the visitors and sending his team to the top of the table.  

Division 2:
Forest Green B have continued their strong start to the season as they beat the visiting Frampton C 7-3. Craig Smart and Jimmy Haycraft both unbeaten for the Green. Thornbury B also showed their intentions as they overwhelmed the visiting Cam A 9-1, Gavin Rogers and Mark Attwood had three singles wins apiece for Thornbury. Randwick A complete a trio of teams making an early push at the top of the division as they defeated their hosts, Whiteshill B, 8-2. Robbie Hawkins and Declan Fardon with three singles wins each. 

Division 3:
Phoenix E suffered a heavy defeat at home at the hands of the visiting Thornbury C. Len Pattison and Viv Wilkie each scoring maximums for the Thornbury side. Cam B suffered their second defeat of the season when they lost 1-9 at home to Randwick D. Jim Hurford and Sacha Curzon both going unbeaten in singles. Phoenix F could only field two players on their travels when they played Whiteshill C, but a strong performance and a hat trick from young Sam McIvor gave the visitors a narrow 6-4 victory.  

Division 4:
Phoenix H proved to be too experienced for the visiting Randwick E youngsters running out with an 8-2 victory. Chris Hampton and Rob Arthur unbeaten in both singles and doubles. Not to be out done by their H team club mates, Phoenix G won by 8-2 at Forest Green D. Andy Donald and Fadi Dahdouh both scored maximums. George Thomas scored a hat trick of wins for Cam C when they defeated their Thornbury D hosts 7-3. Alex Edwards scored three singles wins but couldn’t prevent his two player Forest Green C team losing 6-4 away to Frampton D.
